Hi friends, its Katie here to welcome you to another terrific Tuesday! Today, I've got something that I really feel is timeless. I know that many, most, all of you out there in crafty land love to make 3x3 notecards. I am definitely one of you too. They are so fun, quick and easy. They make great little gifts as well as just being handy to have on hand for yourself to give as quick notes or pick me ups.
So, that is what I bring to you today, but I've made sure to pair our little 3x3's with a fabulous stamp set. This set just released this month and it is SERIOUSLY a must have. The images are so cute and the sentiments fill just about any occasion or sentiment you could possibly want... Heartfelt Sentiments!
The measurements below are correct... let's just keep it at that (long story short)So lets start with your basic box... easy peasy. Measurements are 8 1/2" x 6 1/2"
Along the 8 1/2" side score at 3 1/2" and 5"
Along the 6 1/2" side score the right and left side at 1 1/2"
Next, fold and cut, and glue.
I then decided to grab some of the new Clearly Coordinating Collection cardstock (Lime Juice and Sweet Pea) to decorate my box front and my 3x3 notecards. Decorate the front of the box before gluing it together.
I used a Sizzix embossing folder for this one and I want you to take a look at how beautifully the Clearly Coordinating Cardstock embosses.
Next, I took images from Heartfelt Sentiments and used the same Nestability die (labels 6) to die cut my images and sentiments. I then used pop dots to lift them off the mini cards for a quick and easy look.
And here they are in my lovely, yet simple box. I attached the coordinating Sweet Pea ribbon to the top edge of my box to finish off the look.
Well there you go, something sweet and simple. Thank you as always for coming and joining us at Clearly iStamp. I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!
Don't forget, we've got a color challenge going on right now. If you don't have Clear Dollar Cardstock colors don't let that stop you. Just work with what you have. Keep scrolling for all the details!
Thanks for the great tutorial! This is exactly what I was looking for, except I changed the measurements slightly though to fit my little 3x3 card envelopes (which measure 3 3/8" x 3 3/8") and the whole lot - notecards and envelopes fit in the box perfectly.
The measurements for including my envelopes is 8.5" x 6.5" and the scores are exactly the same. :)

Oh Katie-Kate this awesome. Love it. I've got to make one of these for a gift. I used the second generation technique on a card Sunday after seeing your tutorial. Thank you for such great, easy to follow tutorials.
