Hello friends!
Welcome to our monthly Sunday Blog Hop!
These blog hops will be the third Sunday of every month....a must see for a lazy Sunday afternoon!
Each month we will have a theme which each Design Team member is challenged to interpret any way they like.
The theme for May is:
Let's hear it for the boys!
That is such a great theme....sometimes it is so hard to think of guy cards! Now we'll get to see what our DT came up with!
We ask that you browse through each Design Team member's post and leave them an encouraging comment....short or long, they all are appreciated!
There will be a prize each month!
May's prize is:
Two random winners will be chosen from all of the comments (includes every Design Team member's blog) to receive a $10 gift certificate to Clear Dollar Stamps for stamps or digis!
WINNERS: Winners will be randomly chosen from comments received on two DT member blogs. Winners will be announced on the CDS blog Wednesday, May 18th.
......................................................................
I have chosen a couple of images that boys love!
This card was for Joe who turned 70. He loves classic cars, owns classic cars, and loved this card! The inside says: You're a Classic! It was just perfect for him!
CDS Stamps used: Cruisin' Classic Clear Acrylic Stamps
Cardstock used: Night Eclipse, Tropical Mist, Galvanized
Tools used: Copic Markers, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Stickles, Crystal laquer
This card was for Dale that turned 50. He is a Harley rider and loves motorcycles!
The inside says "keep the dirty side down"....he is very accident prone, so I thought I'd better reinforce some safety! LOL!
CDS Stamps used: Motorcycle Mania Clear Acrylic Stamps
Cardstock: Red Velvet Cake, Galvanized Silver, Hot cocoa
Tools used: Copic Markers, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Stickles, Crystal laquer
Those are my two boy cards for this month!
Now make sure you cruise on over to the rest of the team's blogs to see what they have created!
Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon!
We'll see you tomorrow for our DIGITAL STAMP RELEASE!
Hope your day is filled with blessings and stamping galore!

Lovely "revhead" cards - that's what we call males who like their fancy cars and motorbikes in Australia - do you use that term in the US too?

My husband is also an owner of a couple of classic cars. I'm always trying to come up with ideas to use his love of this oldies but goodies as card inspiration for him. I love this stamp set and these cards you have made.

Both cards are great for the men in our lifes, you came up with some good thing to add to the inside also. Nice male colors also it is so hard to know what to add for guy cards.

Love both cards! The first one could be for both men or women since anyone could be consider "a classic". But the motorcycle one is definitely a guy feel, will have to use this for my uncle's birthday coming up in August. I just got myself a Sizzix and seen the grate pattern, never would of though of using it for guy cards. Awesome creativity.

Great cards, Lori. I really like the Chevy classic. What did you do the color on the bike with? It has a crystal effects look?
