Hello friends!
Welcome to our monthly Sunday Blog Hop!
These blog hops will be the third Sunday of every month....a must see for a lazy Sunday afternoon!
Each month we will have a theme which each Design Team member is challenged to interpret any way they like.
The theme for June is:
Sugar and spice and everything nice,
That's what little girls are made of.
We ask that you browse through each Design Team member's post and leave them an encouraging comment....short or long, they all are appreciated!
There will be a prize each month!
June's prize is:
Two random winners will be chosen from all of the comments (includes every Design Team member's blog) to receive a $10 gift certificate to Clear Dollar Stamps for stamps or digis!
WINNERS: Winners will be randomly chosen from comments received on two DT member blogs. Winners will be announced on the CDS blog Thursday, June 23rd.
..............................................................
I chose to focus on the sugar and spice part for my card this month and then give them to my girls....thus incorporating the whole theme!
I am using the SWEET TREATS set that is the June Stamp set of the month....FREE with any $30 order!
I found these adorable little colored notepads that are slightly smaller than an A2 cards at Dollar General the other day. I just knew I had to have them!
With my Sweet Treats set, I decided to create little jackets for the notepads for my girls!
Here's the inside:
I just had to make my pen look like a pixie stix too! I took some 1/4 inch scor tape, wrapped it around the pen and rolled it in Ultra Fine Microbeads - Clear. Isn't it cute!
Here are some more variations of the same idea:
I covered the front piece of all my wraps with microbeads....I just love this stuff!
Here are the adorable samples by Candy Fosta:
I hope you like these samples and they inspired you to create something too!
On to your next stop!
..............................................................
Here's our blog roll for the month of June!
Make sure to visit each blog and leave an encouraging word to be entered for our prize!
Hope your day is filled with blessings and stamping galore!

Lori, I'm not sure how to contact you. I am trying to do all on the Blog hope and 2 sites won't let me leave a comment. I wish I could. They are Sarah and Jerusha. I have tried several times.
Sarah- my comment-Wow! This card is just beautiful! It is very Victorian. I just love it.
Jerusha- my comment- This card is very girly yet a touch of tomboy.
Thanks to both for sharing.
Please let me know how to leave comments on their sites. Thank You, Edwina Brown
