Happy Tuesday Tutorial am. It is Lisa. First a shout out to our Katie....Hi Katie-Kate. Did you enjoy Clear Dollar Stamps Product Parade July 7 - 10th of all the New Releases? If you missed it you can start HERE on the Clear Dollar Stamps Blog on day four and scroll down to see all four days.
One of the wonderful releaes is this
So today I am going to show you how to make Bag Toppers, Nugget Wrappers and Fruity Tags using this new die set.
You can use the border die to wrap Nuggets for all occassions.
Cut a strip from BILLOWING CLOUDS CARDSTOCK using the border die from ELEGANT ACCENTS DIE SET.
Cut the border strip to just three sections.
Using the set PATCHPAL MESSAGES stamp the "boy" sentiment starting in the center.
Finish stamping the sentiment.
Place a small strip of double sided tape like score tape on each end on the back side.
Center the strip on the Hershey Nugget then wrap around and adhere the ends one at a time. And Voila.
Here you can see one for a girl as well using SWEET CHEEKS CARDSTOCK and the "girl" sentiment from PATCHPAL MESSAGES.
Here is one for generic baby favors/treats. Using stamp set PATCHPAL MESSAGES also and COTTONBALL WHITE CARDSTOCK. Copic markers Y21, R20, B00, YG41, YR02.
This one is perfect for an elegant occassion. The border is from COTTONBALL WHITE and topped with SMOKE STACK SHEER PINSTRIPE RIBBON
You can put a 1 x 3" piece of cardstock under your border for another look. Here I used WILD GINGER as the base paper and TOASTED ALMOND for the border.
Now you're going to want something to put those nuggets in....so onto our bag toppers.
Run your piece of BILLOWING CLOUDS CARDSTOCK through your cutting machine (I used my Cuttlebug) using the oval die from ELEGANT ACCENTS DIE SET.
Score a line throught the center length wise.
Fold in half and place over your bag then staple.
Punch a hole on each side of the staple.
Thread BILLOWING CLOUDS GROSSGRAIN RIBBON through the holes and knot. Cut out the tag die from ELEGANT ACCENTS DIE SET from COTTONBALL WHITE CARDSTOCK. Stamp sentiment from BABY BUNDLE using MEMENTO TUXEDO BLACK.
Now onto our Fruity Tags
Start by cutting 5 tags using the tag die from the ELEGANT ACCENTS DIE SET. from COTTONBALL WHITE CARDSTOCK.
Tag #1. Using the stamp set FRUITY FUN stamp the large strawberry with PUCKER UP PALETTE INK PAD.
Stamp the leaves and stem using SPRING LEAF PALETTE INK PAD.
Stamp the two sentiments from the same set using MEMENTO TUXEDO BLACK INK PAD.
Tag #2. Using FRUITY FUN stamp this stem using SPRING LEAF PALETTE INK PAD.
Stamp the raspberry using WILD HUCKLEBERRY PALETTE INK PAD.
And now stamp the last raspberry.
Stamp the sentiment using MEMENTO TUXEDO BLACK INK PAD.
Tag #3. Using FRUITY FUN stamp the half circle segments (used for lemon, lime, orange and grapefruit) with FRESH PAPAYA PALETTE INK PAD.
Stamp the sentiment "Pucker Up" from FRUITY FUN in MEMENTO TUXEDO BLACK INK PAD.
Tag #4. Using FRUITY FUN stamp the whole orange using WILD GINGER PALETTE INK PAD.
Stamp the stem with leaf using SPRING LEAF PALETTE INK PAD.
