Hi Everyone!
True :D here.
Hope you are all staying cool!
It's sweltering here in Kansas! We are supposed to hit 114 degrees today and 115 tomorrow! Ugggh!
I need something cold to cool me off so....
Today I am going to share how I color the "Ice Cream Cone" stamp that I illustrated for Clear Dollar Stamps with Tombow markers.
The "Ice Cream Cone" stamp measures 1 5/8" x 3 3/4" and is just $4.99!
(It is also available in a smaller size, in the "Birthday Party" set)
I bought a new camera and the pictures are very clear so... I am going to let them do the talking.
The image was stamped onto watercolor paper with a waterproof ink.
See the photos for colors used, placement, and when to blend with a damp paint brush.
Remember, you can click on the images for a closer look. ;)
I added a little highlight to the cherry with some white acrylic paint and then finished it off with some Diamond Glaze.
Thanks so much for dropping by!
I would love a comment if you have a second! :)
Hugs and happy crafting!
Great tutorial! I am not good at shading and such, but you made it much easier. ty I love the stamp set

True - fabulous tutorial. I have tried this technique and I still need to practice. I'm not getting it to work quite right yet!! Take care.

Thanks for sharing. I am a long-time scrapper just venturing into stamps. I love my CDS purchases and would love to try the marker techniques, but am scared of investing in them only to learn that I lack the ability to use them. Your work is fantastic and you make it look easier than expected.

Thanks for the awesome tutorial! I recently invested in some Tombow markers after being inspired by Kim Teasdale and appreciate all the tutorials on how to use them that I can get!

thank you for showing a project with the TomBow markers. It is refreshing to see something NOT created with Copic

Yummy! I love how you get great blending from non-alcohol ink markers! I water color with my Marvy's now because I watched one of your videos months ago about watercoloring with markers. Thanks for all the inspiration! Stay cool!!!

It was great to see you using TomBow markers instead of Copic. Some cannot afford the Copic. Beautiful! Thanks!!

Very nice card! Thanks for showing how to use the Tombow watercolor markers. What brand ink did you use to stamp the design?
