Hi, Lisa here, happy Tuesday Tutorial morining to you. Today I have a quick and easy technique for you. I learned it from my dear friend and fellow DT member, our very own Kris Chirhart.
Dry emboss your panel by running it through an embossing machine. I am using my Cuttlebug here. Make sure the highest embossed edge is face up (will be the bottom of your embossing folder that will push through the back of your panel to give you a raised image). I find the best results come from using an embossing folder with an overall image...like Tiny Bubbles that I am using.
Lift up the top of the embossing folder and leave your panel on the embossing folder while you rub the side of a white crayon over the embossed area.
Sponge over your panel that has been embossed and rubbed with a white crayon ( I pressed firmly with my crayon). Here I am using Palette Ink Pad Tropical Mist and a Tim Holtz Blender tool.
Just use your panel on your card/project. This technique goes perfectly with my new digi SPLASH.
RECIPE:
STAMPS:Splash digital image
PAPER:Cottonball white, Night Eclipse
INK:Printer, Palette Ink Pad Tropical Mist, Copics YR02, YR04, YR07, white gelly roll pen
ACCESSORIES:Cuttlebug, CB Tiny Bubbles Embossing Folder, score tape, dimensional tape, white crayon, Tim Holtz blender tool
Thank you for tuning in!
Lisa, Thank you for telling how you did your card. I really like your bubble water. It looks like real bubbles. The fish digi is very cute. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown
