Katie's battle has come to a peaceful end. 

It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the news of Katie's passing. She passed away peacefully this morning at the hospice home. You can read more of her journey on her BLOG.

Katie Renz has been our "GO TO" gal here at Clear Dollar Stamps.  What didn't she do?  From tutorials to challenges with everything in between. Katie did it all....and with a smile.

Thinking of Katie's family we find comfort in one of God's promises

For those of you who missed our post last Tuesday, Katie has been diagnosed with a rare form of stomach cancer.  She has been told the stomach cancer is in stage four.  Katie has been bravely sharing her story with us on her blog.

Cards for our Katie

My friends, and you all are friends not just customers, this post is dedicated to our beloved Katie.  Most of you know Katie for her Tuesday Tutorials, her award winning creations, her willingness to share anything and everything, her overall love of crafting, and her beautiful smiling face.   What you might not know is that she is battling a rare form of gasteric cancer.  If you would like to read more, visit Katie's blog [Katie's blog] She is now on her treatment journey so she might not be as visible as she has been in the past.  She will be missed while she is focusing on taking care of herself. 
 
We want to encourage and strengthen Katie and make sure she knows just how much each member of the DT loves her so we decided to post some cards that were designed especially for her.  We know many of you would like to encourage Katie too.  If you would like to send a card (or two or ten) to Katie, please email Candy at fosta60@msn.com and she will send you her mailing address.  Please keep Katie and her family in your prayers.

As you travel through this storm that has been placed in your life, know that I am with you every step of the journey with prayers of love, comfort, healing, and hope.  You are one of a kind and definitely the best "enabling" friend anyone could ever ask for.  Remember 2011 - New Year/New Hope.  Love you with all my heart!

Katie ... You are loved, and you are loved by so many.  Most of all, you are loved by our precious Lord and Creator.  He promises to take care of His children regardless of what we're going through and promises to be with us through everything.  I pray that you have His comfort through every step of this ordeal and that you feel His love in your every breath. 

 

You are an amazing person, Katie.  You are so creative, so inspiring, and so strong. You are constantly in my thoughts.  Please know that I'm praying for you, and  I love you.
